When five college buddies come together for a New Year's Eve bash, little do they know that a global epidemic is raging beyond the confines of the house. Faced with no other option, they fortify themselves inside, armed only with their smartphones, laptops, and gadgets. As they delve into online research to uncover the origins of the outbreak, a deluge of information and videos inundate their screens, plunging them deeper into the heart of the crisis and ensuing pandemonium. As the contagion spreads, the once festive atmosphere morphs into one of suspicion and dread. Amidst the escalating paranoia, questions arise: Who can be trusted? Whose safety is assured? The boundaries between reality and fiction blur as they inch closer to unearthing the genesis of the virus responsible for the illness...with no chance of turning back.
