Aakhree Raasta (1986)

After serving a wrongful twenty-four-year sentence, elderly ex-convict David emerges from prison with a burning desire for revenge against the three influential individuals who orchestrated his imprisonment. Seeking solace and guidance, he turns to the sanctity of a church confessional to seek absolution before embarking on his vengeful mission. His plan involves enlisting the help of his former ally, a notorious bootlegger entrusted with raising David's son to carry out retribution. However, upon reuniting with his son, David is stunned to discover that the young man has chosen a path of righteousness as a police officer. Undeterred, David sets out on his quest for retribution, unaware that his son is sworn to protect the very community David seeks to avenge himself upon. As father and son find themselves on opposing sides of a moral divide, a fierce conflict ensues.
