15 Minutes (2001)

As Oleg and Emil, two crooks from Eastern Europe, venture into the bustling streets of New York City to claim their cut from a successful heist, a twist unfolds. Oleg, driven by a newfound fascination, seizes a video camera to document their every move, be it lawful or unlawful. Witnessing how the American spotlight can reshape a ruthless criminal into a sympathetic figure and bring immense wealth, they set their sights on Eddie Flemming, a savvy detective of the NYPD, and Jordy Warsaw, a less media-savvy fire marshal of the FDNY. These law enforcers are hot on the trail of the duo for their involvement in a murder and arson case involving their former criminal associate. All the while, Oleg diligently records their sinister deeds with the intention of selling the footage to the sensationalist local TV program "Top Story."
