My Cousin Vinny (1992)

Two easygoing buddies hailing from Brooklyn take a road trip through the countryside of Alabama on their journey back to university, only to find themselves wrongly apprehended and accused of a serious crime. Luckily, one of them happens to have a relative who is a newly minted attorney - Vincent Gambini, a former mechanic from Brooklyn who recently succeeded in passing his bar exam on the sixth attempt. As he shows up with his stylish girlfriend by his side to tackle his inaugural legal case, the unexpected turn of events proves to be a major eye-opener for both him and the Southern community!
