Bad Timing (1980)

Residing in Vienna, Alex Linden, a seasoned psychiatrist, crosses paths with Milena Flaherty, courtesy of a common acquaintance. Despite the significant age gap between them, Alex finds himself drawn to Milena's youthful and untroubled demeanor. Their platonic bond escalates rapidly into an intense and all-consuming romance, even though Milena is committed to another in marriage. The intensity of their affair spirals out of control, endangering both their emotional equilibrium. As circumstances take a dark turn leading to Milena's hospitalization due to an overdose, Inspector Netusil intervenes by apprehending Alex.
