Story :

Inspired by the illicit exploits of Frank Lucas, a notorious criminal hailing from the town of La Grange in North Carolina, the film delves into his daring scheme of smuggling heroin into the United States aboard American military aircraft returning from the Vietnam War. Eventually, his criminal activities catch up to him when a dedicated task force, under the leadership of Newark Detective Richie Roberts, takes him down.
