Uncross the Stars (2008)

The film depicts the journey of Troy, a young man who is devastated by the loss of his dear wife. Beginning at her somber funeral, Troy finds himself overwhelmed by grief, causing him to withdraw emotionally. Adrift and unsure of how to cope, Troy unexpectedly receives a letter from his late wife, urging him to construct a porch for his Aunt Hilda. With no clear path ahead, Troy embarks on a journey to his aunt's desert home. There, he encounters Aunt Hilda, a group of quirky elderly women, and Bobby, a seasoned cowboy, all of whom provide the support he needs to confront his sorrow and move forward. Through their guidance, Troy discovers that his pain is a universal experience and gains insight into the distinction between "true love" and "love at first sight."
