Story :

During the 1920s in Ireland, Damien O'Donovan, a promising young doctor, gets ready to leave for a fresh start at a hospital in London. Just as he bids farewell at a friend's farm, a tragic event unfolds with the arrival of the British Black and Tans, resulting in the loss of a young life. This prompts Damien to unite with his brother Teddy in the Irish Republican Army, only to find themselves caught in a whirlwind of political turmoil that drives a wedge between the siblings.
