The Movie of My Life (2017)

In the rugged sierras of southern Brazil in the year 1963, Tony, the offspring of a French father and Brazilian mother, emerges as a young man brimming with a deep passion for cinema and poetry. Upon completing his studies at university, he ventures back to his quaint rural hometown in Brazil, only to discover that his father has vanished, returning to France for good. Determined to uncover the mystery of his father's departure, Tony seeks solace in the company of his father's acquaintances, yearning for insights and guidance from a missing paternal figure. Embracing a role as a schoolteacher and mentor to the local youth, Tony endeavors to offer the guidance and support he himself craves.
