The Big Hit (1998)

In the world of contract killings, Melvin Smiley is the easy-going assassin who always finds himself at the short end of the stick due to the deceitful ways of his ruthless associates. When Melvin and his crew abduct the daughter of a wealthy tech tycoon, things quickly spiral out of control, leaving Melvin to bear the blame for the botched operation. This unfortunate predicament arises because the girl happens to be under the protection of the gang's unforgiving leader. Juggling danger and deceit, Melvin must also maintain the facade of a normal life with his oblivious fiancée, Pam, all while evading a hail of bullets.
