Sun Dragon (1979)

In the vast expanse of the Arizona desert, Sung Shao Chong, known as Billy Chong, embarks on a journey filled with altruism, aiding those in distress as he makes his way to reunite with his long-time companion Kum, portrayed by Lam Hak-Ming, in a quaint western village. Upon his arrival, he encounters a nefarious gang of men who sow fear and demand tribute from the townsfolk. Meanwhile, a trio of bank robbers seek refuge following a daring heist, choosing the residence of a black farming family as their hideout and committing a heinous act by eliminating all but the gravely wounded eldest son, Tommy, played by Carl Scott, who manages to elude capture. Tommy's path crosses with Chong and Kum, who deliver him to the care of Doctor Ko, portrayed by Leung Siu-Chung, for treatment of his injuries. Under Ko's guidance, Tommy hones his martial arts skills and sets out on a quest for vengeance. Serendipitously, Chong also harbors a thirst for retribution after becoming the target of the bandits' hired gunslingers and a group of Japanese samurai, setting the stage for an enthralling showdown.
