Sonchiriya (2019)

In the untamed Chambal Valley of 1975, Maan Singh leads a group of outlaws stirring up trouble. These lawless individuals, self-dubbed as Bhaagis (rebellious souls), thrive on theft and terrorize the nearby villages. With a dark past shadowing them, the police relentlessly pursue them. Upon discovering news of a valuable gold treasure set to exchange hands at a wedding celebration, Maan Singh sets their sights on their next daring theft. Unaware of the impending police ambush, some gang members narrowly escape, fleeing to the harsh and desolate surroundings. Amidst internal discord on their next move, they encounter a woman from the lowest social caste being pursued by a ruthless family clan. Sheltering a young girl who suffered a vicious assault by the clan leader, the bandits see a chance for redemption from their past misdeeds.
