Savage Dog (2017)

Set in Indochina during 1959, a lawless territory ruled by Vietnamese warlords and European war-criminals, the narrative unfolds at the Den-Dhin-Chan Labor Camp under the control of four menacing individuals. Known as the most brutal prison in the region, this is where Martin Tillman, an Irish ex-champion boxer, gains notoriety by participating in high-stakes fighting tournaments, where wealthy criminals place their bets. As Tillman nears his release date, his sole desire is to go back home, yet the corrupt authorities of the jail are determined to thwart his plans. After a heinous act of violence robs Tillman of everything he cherishes, he is compelled to face the perpetrators and seek vengeance, thus marking the genesis of a legendary tale.
