Story :

In a tumultuous and almost post-apocalyptic Detroit, the ruthless corporation Omni Consumer Products secures a deal with the city authorities to privatize law enforcement. In a bid to showcase their crime-fighting cyborgs, they manipulate street officer Alex Murphy into a dangerous showdown with the notorious criminal Boddicker, intending to transform him into the foundation for their experimental RoboCop model.
