Back in 1978, a whopping $20 million mysteriously vanished from a bank in Detroit. Among the robbers, one faced justice, another met a grim fate, and the third simply vanished into thin air. The missing cash remained a tantalizing enigma. Fast forward seven years – the apprehended thief was set free, only to meet a sudden demise in sunny Miami. Now, enter FBI agents Doug Bennet and Steve Forest, tasked with unraveling this perplexing puzzle under the guise of local law enforcement. The elusive third accomplice is out there in Miami, hoarding the stolen fortune, with a significant seven-year head start on the authorities.
