In the Earth (2021)

In a world plagued by a lethal virus, Dr. Martin Lowery sets out on a daring quest to locate the testing facility ATU327A nestled within the dense Arboreal Forest. Assisted by the knowledgeable park ranger Alma, their challenging expedition is hindered by a violent nocturnal assault that leaves them battered and without shoes. Encountering Zach, a recluse surviving in the wilderness, they cautiously welcome his assistance. Yet, Zach's motives prove to be more complex than anticipated, casting doubt on their escape route from the forest and casting a shadow over the distinction between folklore and scientific reality.
