Flight of the Phoenix (2004)

When an oil drilling venture in the desolate Gobi Desert of Mongolia fails to yield results, a team of aviators is dispatched to terminate the operation and transport the crew back. Amidst a turbulent sandstorm while en route to Beijing, Captain Frank Towns and his co-pilot A.J. struggle to maintain control of their aircraft, a C-119 Flying Boxcar, ultimately crash-landing in an uncharted region of the desert. Stranded with a group of oil workers and a wanderer, the pilots and passengers must collaborate to reconstruct the plane and endure the harsh conditions. With dwindling resources and a ruthless gang of smugglers lurking nearby, their mission becomes increasingly critical.
