Following the chaotic food storm from the initial movie, Flint and his companions find themselves bidding farewell to their town. Flint decides to embrace an offer from his role model Chester V to become a member of The Live Corp Company. This organization is dedicated to restoring the island, with the brightest minds worldwide crafting innovative technologies for the benefit of humanity. Unveiling that his invention is still active and producing bizarre food creatures such as animated pickles, ravenous tacodiles, shrimpanzees, and apple pie-thons, Flint realizes that he and his friends must intervene to safeguard the planet once again.
