Chaos (2005)

Detective Quentin Conners finds himself suspended in Seattle, with his partner Jason York quitting the police force following a tragic incident on Pearl Street Bridge. Tasked with a bank heist involving a hostage, Conners is paired with rookie Shane Dekker to lead the operation. Curiously, the thieves, under the leadership of Lorenz, opt not to take any money from the bank. As they pursue the criminals, the police team uncovers a scheme involving a virus planted in the system that results in the theft of one billion dollars from various accounts, all orchestrated through the Chaos Theory. Additionally, they discover that Lorenz is eliminating his own partners in crime.
